Oldwalls Wedding Photos Swansea
Rebecca & Darren were married December 28th 2016, here’s a small selection from their Oldwalls Wedding Photos Swansea.
Becky & Darren got married at a little church just down from the road from the beautiful Oldwalls, St Rhidian & St lilted Church, Llanrhidian in late December 2016. If you have visited this church recently you’ll know how cool & totally awesome the Vicar is there, something you don’t hear very often from a photographers point of view. After chatting with him before the service I explained how respectful I am for whats about to take place but would also like to capture it in an unobtrusive manor, I was met with “Yea you go for it!” : )
To start the day, bridal preparations took place at the gorgeous Mulberry House(part of Oldwalls), with the sun shining on a cold crisp winters day, it was a wedding that was a joy to shoot from start to finish. Becky & Darren AKA DAZZA!!!! I’d met some time back, instantly falling for the couple when they called down, meant I had to shoot their wedding. I don’t tend to undertake many winter weddings, Im so glad I took this one on. The guys personalities shone through when we met & on the day itself. We had the same ideas, which is a must but I felt very much at ease with them both, especially Darren who’s a right character! We are still having our own personal FB msgs on a daily basis which 100% have nothing to do with weddings x
So leading up to the day I knew we were going to have fun & we so did. To have a couple say, “You’re the pro, we’ll do what ever you suggest & when” means I can relax & focus on what needs to be captured. The couple were a delight to photograph along with their friends & family & I have to say, it was probably a good thing we left when we did as I’ve the feeling it would have taken days to recover with how the party was shaping up when we did depart.
Becky & Darren…………… big hugs guys, big hugs x
